This is Clusters of Rowan Berries. When the berries form on the rowan trees the leaves gradually become transparent and you can nearly see right throughh them and the colours that are formed on the leaves and on the tree itself are all seen in the background of the Rowan Berries.
The rowan berries are made by a stitch called algerian eyelet. The threads are taken down into one hole in the centre of the beries and on the top of the centre hole I have placed a red bead.
This is not a soporific but a languid piece of work.
