The border is composed of what is called King Solomon's Knot and has no beginning or end. It represents time.
We are borne in a continuum of time. There is the past, the present and the future. The border is time everlasting.
The design in the middle is formed by geometric shapes which represent days of the week working upwards, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and each day is composed of 24 hours and so many minutes and so many seconds. You think each day is the same but it is not. When you wake up in the morning each day is different so consequently all the days you see in front of you are all different in colour, shape and design.
It is time passing and the background colours are of the evening time when you get the mist or twilight zone when the days are beginning to turn into night.
