Dawn Chorus

This is called Dawn Chorus. I like this piece of work. The birds in the border represent the perching birds from which you can hear the sound of the bird song in the morning but when you look out at the birds you generally don't see them, what you see are the leaves on the trees from which the sound of the birds emanates.
I looked at these leaves and I decided that they would form a kind of fugue. A fugue is a musical piece which generally means flight.
The leaves are so formed that each one has a different look, greenery and placement which replace the sounds of the birds.
In the top left hand side the day is beginning to form and as the light percolates through the leaves you hear the sound of the early morning dawn chorus.
